The Terang Bowls Club is seeking to appoint a playing coach for the upcoming * season. The Club currently has 6 teams in the Warrnambool District Bowls Region (WDPA); 3 in both Weekend and Midweek pennant competitions.
The coach will be responsible for:
Structured and planned training sessions.
Preparation of the players for pennant competition.
Assistance in the selection and preparation of all pennant teams.
Developing each player's potential and providing prospects to learn different team roles.
Providing positive feedback and post-game analysis to the players.
Assistance with player recruitment and retention.
Adherence to player selection guidelines.
Advising both selection and match committee.
Communication with players when moved between grades. (up and down)




Skills and knowledge required for this role:
Accredited coach certification or the ability to obtain the appropriate
Accreditation prior to appointment.
Playing experience and the ability to perform to high quality levels.
Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
Be enthusiastic, dedicated, versatile, and innovative
Remuneration: An attractive remuneration package will be available for negotiation based on experience, accreditation, and playing/coach background.
