4x4 Accessories Fitter - Mechanic - Auto Electrician
Opposite Lock 4x4 Townsville is looking for an enthusiastic Accessories Fitters/Auto Electrician/Mechanic due to increased work load. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate an ability to work in a great workshop team environment, with good problem solving and diagnostic skills.
On the job training will be provided with the opportunity to turn the position in to a trade or dual trade position for the right candidate.
Experience:
- Great communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Willing to learn new skills with on the job training
- Previous experience in vehicle accessories fitting is an advantage
- Trade qualification is an advantage
- Relevant tickets and licences for trade are an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and care
Tasks & responsibilities:
- Installation and fitting of a vast range of vehicle accessories
- Installation of suspension upgrades and repairs
- Mechanical repairs and servicing
- Custom dual battery installations
- Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks in a timely manner with a high level of detail and care
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop workplace
- Air conditioning servicing and repairs
