About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled General Practitioner to join a well-established private practice in Carrara. This permanent full-time or part-time role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care within a supportive multidisciplinary team. The practice serves a diverse local community and values clinical excellence, continuity of care, and robust patient relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality consultations addressing acute and chronic conditions, preventive care, and mental health support.
- Perform routine examinations, undertake diagnostic evaluation, interpret test results, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Manage chronic disease including diabetes, cardiovascular risk, respiratory conditions, and musculoskeletal complaints.
- Provide immunisation, health assessments, family planning services, and paediatric care as required.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, ensure timely communication with patients and allied health providers, and follow privacy and compliance standards.
- Participate in practice meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and community health programs.

Selection Criteria
- General registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Experience in general practice or family medicine, ideally with at least two years post-registration clinical practice.
- Strong clinical skills across a broad range of presentations and the ability to manage complex cases with sound judgment.
- Excellent communication, time management, and patient-centred care skills.
- Credentialing for relevant procedures and clearances if required by the practice.
