Position Overview

- Working on the companies range of specialized underground equipment.
- Fault diagnosis utilizing onboard diagnostic systems and working with electrically-controlled hydraulic-systems.
- Servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs to diesel-powered heavy-duty equipment.
- Changing-out parts and components.
- Working with diesel engines, transmissions, final drives, hydraulic and electrical systems.




- Working with specialized underground equipment in the workshop and on site.

Candidate Requirements

- Cert III Plant Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic/Fitter.
- Sound knowledge and experience working on mobile plant or similar diesel-powered equipment. Specialised underground experience highly regarded.
- An honest worker with positive work ethic.
- Mechanically minded, a passion for machinery with interest in learning new equipment, systems and technical skills.
- Drivers license, HR highly regarded.
- Someone who works well in a small team and can also work well autonomously.

Also on offer is a starting rate of $50-$63per hour plus over-time at penalty rates, super, training, PPE, etc.
