We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who wants to do more than prepare tax returns and financial statements. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with business owners, provide meaningful advice, and play a key role in the growth of our Nowra office.

Your Role

You will manage a portfolio of business clients and provide accounting, taxation and advisory services, including:

- Preparation and review of financial statements and income tax returns
- Tax planning and business structuring advice
- Monthly and quarterly management reporting
- Budgeting, cashflow forecasting and performance analysis
- Benchmarking and business improvement recommendations
- Responding to client taxation and accounting queries
- Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities to add value
- Supporting the continued growth of our Nowra client base

About You

- Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce or similar
- CA/CPA qualified (or near completion)




- 4+ years' experience in public practice accounting
- Strong technical taxation and accounting knowledge
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, organised and able to manage competing deadlines
- Passionate about helping clients achieve their goals

Experience with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and Microsoft 365 will be highly regarded.
