The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Accountant to join our Finance team. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of multiple entities across the IntoWork Group.

This is an exciting opportunity for a CPA/CA qualified accountant who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, partnering with stakeholders, and contributing to strategic business outcomes.

The role can be based in Eagle Farm, QLD, with flexibility to work from other Brisbane office locations and enjoy a hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare monthly management and board reporting packs, including financial commentary
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger journal entries
- Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies and ledger issues
- Provide financial insights and support to business leaders and managers
- Support year-end audit processes and statutory reporting requirements
- Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax, FBT, WorkCover and other financial submissions
- Maintain fixed asset registers and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Develop financial models,



reporting tools, and data analysis to support business decisions
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and strengthen internal controls

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline
- CPA or CA qualification (or close to completion)
- Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar accounting role
- Strong financial reporting, reconciliation, and compliance experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
- Commercial acumen and the ability to understand key business drivers

Highly regarded:

- Experience within labour hire, group training, not-for-profit, employment services, or disability services environments
- Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics and Solver reporting systems
