An exciting chance has arisen for an Accounts Administrator to join our Studio Services Team in our Melbourne office. This is a flexible Part Time position.

About the role The Accounts Administrator supports the smooth and accurate day-to-day operation of the finance and account's function. Working closely with the Financial Controller and broader Accounts team, the role is responsible for core transactional accounting activities, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, credit card reconciliations, employee expenses and payroll support. This is a new part-time role based in the Melbourne Studio, working approximately 15–20 hours per week, with flexibility in how those hours are spread across the week.

The role is suited to someone who is organised, dependable and highly attentive to detail. As the role becomes established, there is scope to broaden responsibilities in line with capability, interest and Practice needs.

Key responsibilities

- Complete timely and accurate bank reconciliations,



investigate discrepancies and maintain clear supporting records.
- Enter supplier invoices accurately, coordinate the approval workflow, prepare payment information and support timely supplier payments.
- Reconcile corporate credit card transactions, follow up missing documentation and ensure transactions are coded and recorded correctly.
- Assist with month-end activities, including reconciliations, data preparation, supporting schedules and other tasks requested by the Finance team.
- Review and process employee expense claims, check supporting documentation and follow up queries or missing information.
- Assist with payroll administration and data preparation, maintaining accuracy, confidentiality and appropriate records.
- Maintain accurate finance records and ensure relevant systems, registers and documentation are kept current.
- Respond to routine account and finance queries and provide practical support across the Finance function as required.
- Take on additional finance and administration responsibilities over time as the role develops.

About you

- Previous experience in an accounts, bookkeeping, finance administration or similar role.
- Practical experience with bank reconciliations, accounts payable and invoice processing.




- Experience supporting credit card reconciliations, employee expenses, payroll or month-end processes is highly regarded.
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Experience using accounting, expense or payroll systems is highly regarded.
- A bookkeeping, accounting or business administration qualification is desirable but not essential.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Good organisation and time management, with the ability to manage recurring deadlines in a part-time work pattern.
- Sound numerical skills and a practical understanding of transactional finance processes.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement when handling payroll, expense and financial information.
