Robert Half is working with a well-established mining business that is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team on a temp-to-perm basis. This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail and is confident managing high-volume accounts payable.

Reporting to the AP Supervisor, and working in a team of 4, duties will include:

- Processing and coding high-volume supplier invoices
- Matching invoices against purchase orders and supporting documentation
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Preparing and processing payment runs
- Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Maintaining accurate AP records and documentation
- Assisting with month-end reconciliations and general finance administration

What you'll bring
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Strong Excel and accounting systems experience
- Previous mining, resources, construction or similar industry experience is highly regarded, and prior experience using Pronto will be a plus (not essential!)
