We are seeking an experienced Admin officer, to join our team at Indoor Eden Garden Centre in Upper Coomera, Queensland. This role will be responsible for overseeing all administrative and office management functions to ensure the smooth running of our busy garden Centre.
What you'll be doing
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, including overseeing administration and procedures
- Coordinate and prioritize workloads, delegating tasks and providing support to the production team
- Maintain and improve office systems, processes and policies to enhance efficiency
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, payroll, inventory management and other financial tasks
- Liaise with internal departments and external clients to ensure effective communication and problem-solving
- Provide high-level customer service
- Assist with HR and compliance-related duties, such as staff onboarding and training
- Research and implement new technologies and software to streamline office and nursery operations
- This is specifically an onsite position
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2year experience in an office management or administrative supervisory role
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced workplace
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with a wide range of people
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft, Office, Xero, Square, Deputy and project management tools
- Knowledge of office management practices and procedures
- A customer-focused mindset and commitment to providing exceptional service
- The ability to prepare and update stock lists to email to new/current customers
- Make contact with new/potential new clients within the industry via suitable platforms
