The position of Administration Officer, Dermatology will:
- Provide efficient and effective administrative support and general administrative duties within a Divisional Directorate environment.
About The Team
- You will have demonstrated experience in providing high standard administrative support to senior management positions.
- High level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to consult and negotiate with clients and staff at all levels of the organisation.
- Proficiency or ability to rapidly acquire skills in the use of multiple Clinical Information systems utilised for administrative purposes.
- Ability to work effectively with limited supervision, meet deadlines and established work priorities.
- You will have an understanding of compliance with Queensland Health or CHQ Policies and Procedures for use in the preparation of documentation and delivery of administration duties or ability to rapidly acquire same.
About The Role In this role yon accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values . Your contribution will include:
- Provide high quality confidential administrative support to the Dermatology team including the Director and Nursing and clinical Lead.
- Co-ordination of clinics with multiple VMO's and nursing staff across high volume and fast paced clinics
- Provide expert advice and high-level support to patients and families within and external to the Dermatology service
- Work autonomously, utilising discretion in the absence of decision makers in resolution of conflict, meet deadlines, establish work priorities, organise meetings and appointments
- Prepare and distribute agendas for meetings, book conference rooms, facilities and equipment and take minutes during meetings when required.
- Provide assistance to other team members as requested
- Manage and maintain incoming ESM referrals
