Queensland Childcare Services (QCCS) is looking for a friendly, organised and proactive Centre Administration Assistant to join our Bellmere team.
This is a flexible part-time opportunity that could be perfect for someone looking for school-friendly hours, a university student balancing study, or an early childhood educator looking to step into an administration-focused role.
About The Role
Working alongside our Centre Director and leadership team, you’ll play an important role in keeping the day-to-day administration of our early learning service organised and running smoothly.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Providing general administration and reception support
- Answering phone calls and responding to family enquiries
- Assisting with enrolment enquiries and documentation
- Data entry, filing and maintaining centre records
- Supporting communication with current and prospective families
- Assisting the Centre Director with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Helping maintain an organised, welcoming and professional front office
- Providing general support to the centre team as required
About You You might already have administration experience,
or you may currently work in early childhood education and be interested in moving into a different type of role.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Robust organisation and time-management skills
- Great attention to detail
- Confidence using computers and learning new systems
- A friendly and professional communication style
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive, proactive approach
- Previous administration, reception or customer service experience - highly regarded
- Previous experience working within an early childhood education and care service - highly regarded, even if your experience has not been in administration
