This role provides high-level administrative and clerical support to the Maternal Fetal Medicine department, ensuring efficient service delivery, workflow coordination, and oversight of administrative staff. This role supports clinical teams, manages complex correspondence and systems, and leads continuous improvement of administrative processes to deliver timely, patient-focused services.

Selection Criteria:
1. Demonstrated experience in providing a wide range of high level administrative services in a demanding environment.
2. Demonstrated ability to write accurate and concise reports, documents and correspondence with strong attention to detail.
3. High level interpersonal and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
4. Demonstrated ability to work independently using initiative and judgement to solve problems.
5. Demonstrated commitment to work as part of a team in providing quality service and quality improvement initiatives.
6. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers and standard office software packages and the ability to learn new systems as required, including billing systems and clinical information systems.
7. Optional if supervising staff: Demonstrated experience in supervising and supporting an effective team with the ability to determine priorities for others, allocate tasks, coach and monitor work performance of staff to achieve work objectives.
8. Demonstrated commitment to customer service and patient centred care.
