About the role

ALEX&Co; is looking for motivated and reliable hospitality professionals to join our growing Back of House kitchen team in Parramatta. With a new menu launching and a busy spring and summer period ahead, we are strengthening our kitchen team across multiple levels. Positions available include Kitchen Hands, Cooks, Qualified Chefs, Chef de Partie / Section Chefs, Senior Chefs, and Sous Chef roles.

Key responsibilities

- Food preparation and service
- Working across different kitchen sections
- Maintaining food quality and presentation standards
- Following recipes, portioning and preparation procedures
- Stock rotation and reducing food waste
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen
- Food safety and hygiene compliance
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy services
- Senior positions assisting with ordering, prep planning, stock control and team supervision
- Sous Chef candidates supporting the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations, team leadership and service execution

About you

- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Work well in a fast-paced kitchen
- Solid work ethic and positive attitude
- Understand the importance of preparation and organisation
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Take pride in consistency and food quality




- Available for evening and weekend shifts
- Previous kitchen experience preferred for cook and chef positions
- Relevant qualifications and strong experience required for senior chef and Sous Chef applicants
