Empire Office Furniture are currently seeking a motivated Assembler / LR - MR Truck Driver to join our Rocklea team. This is a hands-on role focused on assembling, installing and delivering office furniture across Brisbane and surrounding areas.

Your New Role

As an Assembler / Driver, your primary responsibilities will be the assembly and installation of office furniture, including workstations, desks, storage systems, seating and complete office fit outs. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure every installation is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. In conjunction the role will include MR truck driving duties, driving company vehicles to deliver furniture and equipment to customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble and install office furniture at customer locations.
- Participate in workstation and office fit-out projects.
- Safely load, unload and transport furniture and equipment.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly and in accordance with road regulations.
- Deliver products in a ready-to-use condition.
- Assist with warehouse duties including receiving stock, stock storage, dispatch preparation and general housekeeping.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.

Skills & Experience

- Current LR or MR Driver's Licence.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Robust attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
- Previous furniture assembly, cabinet making,



shopfitting, installation, trades assistant or similar experience.
- Forklift License would be desirable but not essential.
- Experience reading plans and technical drawings would be desirable but not essential.
