About the Prospect

We are seeking motivated and compassionate Assistants in Nursing to join our team. This is a great opportunity to build your clinical experience, develop your skills and work alongside experienced nursing and multidisciplinary teams.

You’ll be supported through orientation and on-the-job learning while gaining valuable experience in a healthcare environment.

What You Will Be Doing

As an Assistant in Nursing, you will work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse to support the delivery of safe, person-centred care.

Your responsibilities may include

- Assisting patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
- Supporting patient comfort, mobility and nutrition.
- Undertaking delegated observations and routine care.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and supportive environment.
- Communicating changes in a patient's condition to the Registered Nurse.
- Supporting the nursing team with day-to-day clinical activities.
- Working collaboratively with patients, families, carers and the multidisciplinary team.
- Maintaining patient privacy, dignity and confidentiality.
