ASSISTANT SITE MANAGER

Our Caltex Ceduna site is currently on the lookout for a motivated and positive full-time Assistant Site Manager. Reporting to the Site Manager, our Assistant Site Managers are responsible for assisting and supporting the Site Manager in providing a high level of customer service and shop presentation whilst maintaining a protected and harmonious environment.

Duties include but not limited to:

- Be able to work in independently and should be self-driven, motivated, flexible and be a strong decision maker

· Work with the Site Manager to oversee the effective management of site operations.
- Customer focused to ensure all our customer needs are meet
- Stock control, security and loss prevention
- Ensuring a very high standard of workplace health and safety is maintained at all times, and leading by example
- Ensuring site merchandising standards are kept to a high standard

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience leading and developing a team
- Previous experience in a retail environment
- Ideally have previous experience in the fuel/petroleum industry
- Ability to work in a flexible environment with additional hours as required over a 24/7 roster pattern
- Customer service experience, with a positive and enthusiastic approach
- Food handling and kitchen experience




- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to work effectively as a team and individually
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
- Strong work ethic and a demonstrated track record of reliability
- Legally entitled to work in Australia

You will be required to show proof of employability with a copy of your Australian visa advising of visa details and entitlements or Australian birth certificate. An Australian visa check will be completed on all successful candidates. A Police clearance certificate will also be required for all successful candidates.
