In this role, you will join the Group Compliance team to help colleagues understand and safely implement regulatory change by providing clear obligations, keeping customers at the centre of decisions and preventing customer harm.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Assess and interpret legislative, regulatory and policy developments impacting NAB.
- Conduct impact assessments on regulation and legislation to determine its impact on NAB.
- Translate regulatory requirements into clear, actionable and machine-readable obligations.
- Develop and maintain regulatory knowledge assets that enable AI-driven compliance capabilities.
- Assure the quality, and integrity of regulatory interpretations, obligations and AI-generated outputs.
- Influence business stakeholders to drive consistent and sustainable regulatory outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement of regulatory change and obligations management practices.
You’ll bring to this role:
- Experience in compliance, legal, regulatory change, risk or obligations management within financial services is preferred.
- Proven experience interpreting complex legislative and regulatory requirements and translating them into practical and sustainable business outcomes will be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication, writing skills and interpersonal skills, with ability to build trust and engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, critical thinking and time management skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks as needed.
