- Temporary parental leave cover from 23 November for four months. clerk grade 11/12 ($154,231 - $178,369 per annum) opportunity, based in 52 Martin Place, Sydney
Expressions of interest are invited from ongoing and temporary employees within the NSW Public Sector who wish to be considered for this temporary role for a period of four months.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role at the centre of government during a pivotal period for public sector bargaining and industrial relations. As Associate Director, Bargaining & Legal Strategy, you will provide expert strategic advice on complex and high-profile industrial matters, helping to shape government decisions and drive outcomes across the NSW public sector.
Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will lead negotiations, identify and manage emerging industrial risks and opportunities, and build solid relationships with senior stakeholders across government, agencies and unions. You will also oversee the development of high-quality Cabinet submissions, briefing materials and strategic advice that influence whole-of-government priorities.

We're Looking For
- Industrial Relations Expertise: Sound knowledge and experience in industrial relations, bargaining, employment legislation, government policy and public sector frameworks.
- Strategic Communication and Negotiation: Exceptional ability to influence, negotiate and communicate complex information clearly to senior stakeholders, while managing competing viewpoints and achieving agreed outcomes.
- Leadership and Critical Thinking: Demonstrated experience leading projects and people, solving complex problems, identifying risks and opportunities, and delivering high-quality outcomes in fast-paced and politically sensitive environments.
