Working closely with senior investment professionals, the Associate will play a key role in the assessment, underwriting and execution of new investment opportunities across Australian commercial real estate.

The position offers significant transaction exposure within a lean team structure, providing the opportunity to take ownership of investment workstreams and develop broader commercial experience across origination, execution and ongoing investment management.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess and underwrite new acquisition and investment opportunities across multiple real estate sectors
- Build and maintain detailed financial models incorporating investment returns, financing structures, sensitivities and scenario analysis
- Undertake valuation, market and asset-level analysis to support investment recommendations
- Prepare investment papers, presentations and recommendations for Investment Committee consideration
- Coordinate and execute transaction due diligence across financial, commercial, legal and property workstreams
- Support transaction structuring across debt and equity considerations
- Work closely with senior investment professionals throughout negotiation and transaction execution
- Engage with external advisers, agents, lenders, capital partners and other transaction counterparties




- Monitor investment performance and contribute to strategic initiatives following acquisition
- Support broader portfolio analysis, investment strategy and capital deployment initiatives

Candidate Profile The successful candidate will bring experience across real estate investment, acquisitions, capital transactions, investment banking, corporate finance or an institutional funds management environment. Solid financial modelling and analytical capability will be essential, alongside an understanding of valuation and investment fundamentals. The role will suit an individual who can move beyond the numbers to form a commercial view on an opportunity and communicate that view effectively.

Candidates will ideally demonstrate:

- Strong financial modelling, valuation and investment analysis capability
- Experience assessing or executing real estate transactions
- Commercial understanding of property investment and the key drivers of investment returns
- Strong written capability, including preparation of investment papers and senior-level presentations
- Ability to manage multiple transaction workstreams and engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- High attention to detail combined with sound commercial judgement
