We are an Azure Solution Architect to join a major enterprise transformation program focused on establishing secure, scalable and repeatable cloud-based application environments.

This is an opportunity to play a leading role in shaping the architecture, design and implementation of modern Azure platforms that support application delivery across the full software development lifecycle.

Working closely with infrastructure, security, engineering and project delivery teams, you will be responsible for ensuring solutions are aligned with architectural standards, security requirements and operational readiness objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end solution architecture activities across complex enterprise environments.
- Develop and maintain high-level and detailed solution designs.
- Define Azure platform, application setting and integration architectures.
- Design secure and scalable application onboarding patterns and environment provisioning models.
- Establish architecture standards, technical patterns and implementation guidance.
- Work closely with engineering teams to translate architecture into build-ready deliverables.
- Provide technical leadership throughout implementation, integration, testing and transition activities.
- Review vendor and delivery partner solutions to ensure alignment with architecture and security standards.
- Drive design governance, architecture assurance and technical decision-making.




- Support operational readiness through monitoring, logging, observability and supportability considerations.

Required Experience

- NV1 Security clearance
- Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect or Cloud Architect within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Solid Azure architecture experience across cloud platforms, application hosting and platform services.
- Experience designing and implementing Azure Landing Zones and cloud governance frameworks.
- Solid understanding of Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines and Secure SDLC practices.
- Experience with API-led integration patterns and API Management platforms.
- Experience designing identity and access management solutions including Entra ID, RBAC and privileged access controls.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, governance and compliance frameworks.
- Proven ability to author and present architecture artefacts including HLDs and detailed designs.
- Experience working alongside delivery, engineering and infrastructure teams through implementation.

Highly Desirable

- Experience within Federal Government, Defence or highly regulated environments.
- Experience with cloud migration, application modernisation or digital transformation programs.
- Azure certifications.
- Knowledge of integration platforms, event-driven architectures and data integration services.
