We are a growing multi-service engineering consultancy delivering high-quality transport, residential, data centres and commercial projects. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented BIM Modeller to join our team and support the delivery of coordinated, high-LOD MEP designs.
The BIM Modeller will play a key role in the modelling, coordination, and documentation of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and fire services, ensuring accurate, clash-free, and construction-ready deliverables across our project portfolio.
Responsibilities
· Model MEP, Fire, and HV services in accordance with project standards and specifications
· Carry out coordination and clash detection across all services
· Produce workshop-level detail drawings for construction
· Create and manage Revit families
· Support the team in maintaining general BIM and drawing standards
· Manage document control tasks including metadata, bulk upload/download, and organisation within Common Data Environments (CDEs)
· Manage revision data, transmittals, and drawing delivery
· Conduct site visits to understand constructability and design intent (when based in Sydney)
· Contribute creative and innovative approaches to modelling and coordination challenges
Skills and Experience Required
· Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field
· Minimum 5 years of experience in BIM modelling for MEP services
· Robust working knowledge of Revit, including family creation
· Solid understanding of Australian Standards and local codes relevant to building services
· Experience with clash detection and coordination workflows (Navisworks or similar)
· Ability to read and interpret plans, scopes, and specifications
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, standards-compliant work
· Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take initiative on assigned tasks
