? Job Opportunity: Bookkeeper

Location: Brisbane Eagle Farm Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time (flexible)

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day financial operations of our growing business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys accuracy, structure, and working with modern accounting systems. You will work closely with management and our external accountant to ensure our financial records are accurate, compliant, and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

- Daily bookkeeping and transaction processing
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Payroll processing and superannuation
- Payroll processing experience is preferred but we are flexible with suitable candidates
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS and GST
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting
- Liaising with external accountants and suppliers

Skills & Experience

- Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounts role




- Minimum 2+ years of bookkeeping experience is required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks – preferred)
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software is essential
- Valuable working knowledge of GST and BAS
- Proficient in Excel and general office software
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- Australian citizenship is required for this position
