About the role

As Bottleshop Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation and performance of the store. You will lead by example, support your team, maintain high retail standards and ensure every customer receives a great experience.

Key responsibilities

- Managing the day-to-day operations of the bottleshop

- Leading, training and motivating a team of staff

- Providing exceptional customer service and building solid relationships with regular customers

- Driving sales and achieving store targets and KPIs

- Managing stock levels, ordering and inventory control

- Receiving deliveries and ensuring stock is correctly stored and displayed

- Maintaining attractive and well-presented product displays

- Managing cash handling, banking and daily reconciliation procedures

- Ensuring the store is clean, organised and presented to a high standard

- Managing staff rosters, attendance and day-to-day performance

About you

- Has previous experience in retail management, ideally within a bottleshop or liquor environment





- Has strong leadership and people-management skills

- Is confident managing a busy retail environment

- Has excellent customer service and communication skills

- Is commercially minded and motivated by achieving targets

- Has strong organisational and time-management skills

- Can work independently and make confident decisions

- Leads by example and is willing to be hands-on

- Has a strong understanding of responsible service of alcohol

- Has a current RSA and is willing to meet all relevant licensing requirements
