As one of Australia’s leading independent car hire companies, we are growing fast and need a hands-on, proactive and business-minded Second-in-Charge (2IC) to help steer our daily operations at our freshly renovated Eagle Farm branch.

You will be on the floor supporting the Branch Manager, coordinating a busy fleet and empowering our team to deliver outstanding service every single day. What You’ll Need Under The Hood

- Availability: As the branch operates seven days a week, flexibility with your working days is required to support the roster.
- Previous experience in fleet management, transport, logistics or car hire (highly preferred).
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
- Stellar organisational skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
- The confidence to make fast operational decisions in a high-paced setting.
- A current unrestricted driver’s licence.

STEERING DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS





- Supporting the Branch Manager with daily operations and critical decision-making.
- Stepping up to oversee the branch and keep things running smoothly in the Branch Manager’s absence.
- Coordinating the vehicle fleet to ensure vehicles are maintained, compliant and available.
- Managing vehicle scheduling, allocations and returns for everyone.
- Leading, mentoring and supporting branch staff to hit service and performance targets.
- Building strong customer relationships through professional, timely and friendly service
- Identifying fresh opportunities to improve efficiency, customer service and overall branch performance.
- Handling branch reporting, compliance and administration.
