About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development Representative to join the dynamic team at Trucksmart. This is a full-time position based in Beresfield, NSW, where you will play a crucial role in identifying, pursuing and converting new business opportunities while maintaining and growing relationships with existing customers. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for promoting Trucksmart's complete range of truck sales, parts and service solutions. You will represent some of the industry's leading brands, including Scania (Parts and Service), MAN, Western Star, Dennis Eagle and Foton (Sales, Parts and Service), helping customers maximise fleet uptime and supporting their operational needs.

Working closely with our Sales, Service and Parts teams, you will generate leads, build solid customer relationships and identify opportunities across all areas of the business. This role is essential to Trucksmart's growth strategy and offers an excellent opportunity to make a tangible impact on the company's success while becoming a trusted advisor to transport operators, fleet managers and business owners throughout the region.

What You'll Be Doing

- Identifying and researching potential new business opportunities and markets within the transport and logistics sector.
- Conducting cold outreach through phone calls, emails and in-person meetings to engage prospective clients.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Qualifying leads and determining fit for Trucksmart's products and services.
- Developing and delivering compelling presentations and business proposals tailored to customer needs.
- Collaborating with the Sales,



Service and Parts teams to maximise opportunities across the dealership.
- Promoting Trucksmart's Sales, Parts and Service capabilities across the Scania, MAN, Western Star, Dennis Eagle and Foton brand portfolios.
- Identifying opportunities for vehicle sales, workshop servicing, maintenance programs, parts supply and fleet support solutions.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all business development activities in the CRM system.
- Achieving monthly and quarterly business development targets and KPIs.
- Gathering market intelligence and competitive information to inform business strategy.
- Supporting the preparation of proposals, quotations and tender responses as required.
