AMA Group is seeking a Business Process Improvement Lead to help simplify complexity, improve efficiency, and design smarter ways of working across our national business.

Reporting to the General Manager - Business Optimisation, you'll partner with operational and support teams to analyse current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver practical solutions that enhance productivity, quality, consistency, customer outcomes, and team member experience.

The successful candidate can be based in Melbourne, Brisbane, or the Gold Coast, with regular collaboration across our national network.

About the Role

Working across multiple sites and business functions, you'll:

- Review and analyse business and operational processes
- Conduct site observations, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and data analysis
- Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, waste, and opportunities for standardisation
- Develop process maps, SOPs, workflows, and improvement recommendations
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Support process redesign, automation opportunities, and implementation activities
- Partner with leaders to deliver measurable business improvements





About You You'll be a curious and solutions-focused improvement qualified with:

- Experience in business process improvement, operational excellence, or continuous improvement
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, and process improvement principles
- Strong process mapping, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Experience influencing stakeholders and facilitating workshops
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- The confidence to challenge existing practices and drive positive change

Desirable:

- Lean Six Sigma certification
- Experience in automotive, collision repair, manufacturing, logistics, or multi-site operational environments
- Exposure to process automation or technology-led improvements
