About the role

As a BYD Sales Consultant Trainee, you will join Curtis Coast Automotive's growing team in Gladstone to represent one of the world's fastest-growing automotive brands. You will help local customers discover the benefits of BYD's electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, with full product training and ongoing support provided.

Key responsibilities

- Welcome customers into our BYD showroom
- Learn the complete BYD electric and plug-in hybrid range
- Understand each customer's needs and recommend suitable vehicles
- Demonstrate vehicle technology and features
- Conduct professional test drives
- Assist customers throughout the sales and delivery process
- Follow up enquiries and build lasting customer relationships
- Help customers understand how an electrified vehicle may reduce their petrol or diesel costs
- Represent BYD and Curtis Coast Automotive at local displays and events
- Work towards individual and dealership sales targets

- Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
- Reliable, well-presented and qualified




- Someone with an amazing work ethic and excellent time-management skills
- Motivated to learn and develop a long-term career
- Comfortable using computers, phones and social media

- Holder of a current Australian driver's licence
