SUBCONTRACT CABINET MAKER / JOINERY INSTALLER

Contempo Cabinets is looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker / Joinery Installer to work with us on a subcontract basis across high-end residential and commercial projects throughout Perth.

We are a growing cabinet-making business based in Wangara, specialising in custom high-end cabinetry and joinery. With a strong pipeline of upcoming work, we are looking to build a relationship with a reliable and experienced subcontract installer who can assist us regularly based on project requirements and availability.

This would suit an established subcontractor looking to add consistent, ongoing work to their schedule and build a long-term relationship with a growing cabinetry business.

The Role

You will be responsible for the on-site installation of custom cabinetry and joinery manufactured by our Wangara workshop. Work will vary across projects and may include:

- Kitchens, sculleries and laundries
- Vanities and bathroom cabinetry
- Wardrobes and built-in cabinetry
- Entertainment units and feature joinery
- Commercial cabinetry and fit-outs
- High-end custom residential joinery
- Panels, fillers, kickboards, trims and finishing components
- Installation and adjustment of doors, drawers, hardware and cabinetry mechanisms

You will be expected to confidently read drawings, set out and install cabinetry accurately, resolve normal site installation issues and complete work to a high standard.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is experienced, dependable and takes genuine pride in the finished product.

You will ideally have

- Cabinet-making trade qualification and/or extensive joinery installation experience
- Strong experience installing custom cabinetry
- Ability to confidently read and interpret detailed joinery drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and finishing skills
- Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions on site
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision




- Good communication with our team, builders, supervisors, clients and other trades
- A skilled and reliable approach to site work
- Own installation tools and reliable transport
- Current driver's licence and White Card
- ABN and appropriate subcontractor insurances

Experience with high-end residential, architectural or commercial joinery will be highly regarded.
