About the role The Caravan Group Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Caravan Builder to join our growing team on a full-time basis in Officer South, VIC. As a Caravan Builder, you will play a crucial role in the design, fabrication and assembly of high-quality caravans. This position is central to our operations, directly impacting the quality of our products and our reputation in the market.

You will work on-site in our Officer South facility, contributing to the construction and finishing of caravans from conception through to delivery.

Key responsibilities

- Construct and assemble caravan walls, roofs and flooring according to design specifications and quality standards
- Install CNC furniture to planning specifications with relevant safety regulations and standards
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the building process to identify and rectify defects or inconsistencies
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools and machinery safely and effectively
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion
- Follow health and safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Provide feedback on construction processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and quality

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in caravan building, RV construction, or similar recreational vehicle fabrication
- Strong proficiency in carpentry and general construction techniques
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing and gas system installation in recreational vehicles would be an advantage but not essential to the role
- Familiarity with construction standards and safety regulations relevant to the caravan industry
- Ability to read and interpret planning drawings accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship




- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel if required for site visits or customer delivery
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a workshop setting
