- 2x Casual Positions until 31 December 2026 (Peak Enrolment Period Coverage)
- Position 1: 38 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm)
- Position 2: 30.4 hours per week (Flexible days and hours)
- Based at either Yallourn, Morwell, Traralgon or Sale FLC campus (travel may be required during work hours, to support across other campuses)
- $40.16 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) + Super

TAFE Gippsland is seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused, and highly organised Customer Service Officers to join our Student Operations team. You’ll bring together excellent customer service with strong administrative capabilities, ensuring enrolment processes are completed accurately and efficiently while supporting students throughout every stage of their enrolment journey.

About the role

As part of our peak enrolment period, we are seeking casual Customer Service Officers to provide vital support to our Student Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-volume, fast-paced environment where your organisational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to customer service will make a real difference to the student experience.

In this role, you will assist prospective and current students with enrolment enquiries and administrative processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion of enrolment documentation and student records. You will play an important role in maintaining compliance requirements while delivering professional, responsive,



and student-centred service across a range of communication channels.

What you’ll bring

- Proven experience in customer service and administration roles
- A collaborative and flexible approach, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain exceptional attention to detail
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and commitment to delivering a positive student experience
- Strong computer literacy, using CRM and digital systems to maintain accurate records and support administrative processes
- Willingness to travel between campuses, during set work hours, as needed

Mandatory requirements

- Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
- Current Police Check (within 12 months old)
- Current Driver’s License (some travel between campuses is a requirement of the role)
