CASUAL PRODUCTION & PREP CHEF | ALBION

ABOUT At Jocelyn’s Provisions, we’ve built our reputation on uncompromising quality, exceptional food and a genuine love of what we do. We’re looking for an experienced Chef/Cook to join our savoury production team in our state-of-the-art, purpose-built kitchen in Albion.

This is an exciting opportunity for a quality-focused and passionate Chef/Cook who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a collaborative team. We are offering casual employment, with the potential to progress into a full-time position for the right person.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare and produce savoury fillings and products, including quiches, tortillas and other savoury items for our four stores, retail and wholesale customers.
- Complete daily prep and production lists, including preparation of vegetables, meats, fillings and other ingredients as required.
- Maintain high standards of quality, consistency and presentation, following recipes, production methods and food safety procedures.
- Fulfil daily orders and work closely with the Logistics team to ensure products are prepared, packed and ready on time.
- Support other areas of the kitchen team as required, working collaboratively to keep production running smoothly.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen, following food safety and WHS requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE





- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or similar role — a minimum of 2 years’ experience is preferred and will be highly regarded.
- Fast, organised and accurate, with the ability to work efficiently in a busy production environment while maintaining high standards.
- Strong understanding of food safety, cleanliness and WHS, with HACCP training or experience highly regarded.
- Adaptable, reliable and hardworking, with a positive attitude and willingness to take on different tasks as required.
- Passionate about great food and savoury cooking, with an enthusiasm for producing quality products consistently.
- Strong eye for quality and attention to detail, ensuring products are prepared, finished and presented to the high standards of Jocelyn’s Provisions.
