anzuk Early Childhood is working in partnership with a well‑established, family‑owned early learning service located in regional Victoria. This family and child‑focused centre has a stable and experienced team and is committed to providing high‑quality care, including nutritious meals and sustainable practices.

The Role The service is seeking a cook responsible for the preparation and delivery of meals for up to 100 children per day. Key responsibilities include:

- Planning and preparing nutritious, balanced meals
- Managing kitchen operations and food safety requirements
- Catering for dietary needs, allergies, and anaphylaxis requirements
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness

About You The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- Experience preparing meals in a childcare or similar setting (minimum 6 months preferred)
- Knowledge of nutrition, allergy management, and anaphylaxis




- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, families, and children
- A reliable and skilled approach to work
- Experience creating seasonal menus and managing ordering budgets
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Working with Children Check
- Anaphylaxis Training
- 12 + Months Working Rights
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
