Casual Storeperson

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and proactive individual with a passion for inventory accuracy.

In this role, you will support the branch by assisting with inventory management, stock flow and warehouse coordination.

Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Coordinating the receiving, checking and storing of incoming goods
2. Maintaining accurate inventory records, stock levels and assisting with stocktakes
3. Managing order fulfilment, including picking, packing, and organising store transfers
4. Processing sales, orders and invoices using point of sale and financial systems
5. Working with the branch team to optimise stock availability and movement
6. Assisting customers with product enquiries and building strong, ongoing relationships
7. Upholding AGnVET’s safety and compliance standards
8. Supporting general branch operations where required

This role is casual, offering a minimum of 2 days per week with the potential for increased hours during peak seasons.

About You

Essential:

- Cert III in Retail (or minimum 2 years’ retail or warehouse experience)
- Strong customer service capability with well-developed communication skills
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and maintain accuracy
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook) and experience with POS or ERP / Financial systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team




- Problem solving ability and a proactive, self-starter mindset
- Current valid driver’s licence

Desirable

- Forklift licence
- Experience within the agricultural sector
- Previous inventory management or warehouse coordination experience
