This is a varied role where you’ll be involved across the full project lifecycle, from early design through to delivery. Day to day, you’ll balance technical design work with project coordination responsibilities, working closely with senior engineers and supporting the General Manager with project visibility and planning.

Your work will include preparing designs, drawings and engineering reports, contributing to development applications and construction documentation, and assisting with project management activities. You’ll also be involved in coordinating with clients, councils and contractors to keep projects moving and issues resolved early.

The role suits someone who is comfortable managing multiple priorities and enjoys working across both the technical and organisational sides of engineering projects.

Must have

- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience working as a Civil Engineer in a consulting setting
- Solid design capability across civil projects, including use of tools such as AutoCAD and 12d
- Ability to manage your time, prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with clients and stakeholders

Nice to have

- Exposure to project or design management responsibilities
- Experience with software such as Drains, MUSIC or HEC-RAS




- Around 3+ years’ consulting experience
- Industry memberships or progress toward professional accreditation
