THE JOB To contribute to the operational needs of the council by carrying out works to clean and maintain facilities and amenities.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Essential Criteria

1. Contemporary knowledge of cleaning practices and procedures.
2. Contemporary knowledge of Safety Data Sheets for hazardous cleaning chemicals.
3. Demonstrated ability to operate cleaning tools and equipment correctly and safely.
4. Demonstrated ability to work effectively unsupervised.
5. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
6. Demonstrated ability to provide a high standard of customer service to internal and external customers.
7. Class C drivers’ licence.

Desirable Criteria

1. Previous experience in commercial/industrial cleaning.
2. AQF3 Chemical accreditation

THE BENEFITS

- Permanent position of 40.5 hours + 6 hours on weekend rotation per fortnight
- Salary range of $1515.58 to $1705.80 per fortnight (gross)



Salary offered within the range will be negotiated based on qualifications, skills and experience.
