About the Role

In this role, you'll provide essential and practical care to help older people live independently in their homes and directly improve their quality of life. The role requires travel to clients’ homes using your own car; you'll be paid $0.99 per km plus paid travel time. Successful applicants will travel to care for clients from Dapto to Gerringong.

Responsibilities

- Provide personal care – helping with showering and dressing
- Help around the home – meal preparation and light house cleaning
- Provide transportation to appointments and assist with shopping
- Assist with medication

Qualifications

- Valid driver’s licence and access to an insured, reliable car with at least third‑party property insurance
- Ideally a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support; if not qualified we can help you to obtain it
- Previously experienced in aged or community care, or willing to start a career in aged care
- Patient, solution‑focused and able to relate to people




- Flexible around meeting the changing needs of home‑care clients
