**About the role The Clinical Nurse - Hepatology Outpatients provides expert clinical nursing care within the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Department at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. Working as part of the Internal Medicine and Emergency Services team, the role delivers contemporary, evidence-based care and care coordination for patients with a broad range of liver conditions, supporting positive health outcomes across outpatient and ambulatory care settings. 1-5632b6
The successful candidate will coordinate the care of patients with viral hepatitis, autoimmune and cholestatic liver diseases, and cirrhosis, while supporting patient flow and ensuring timely access to hepatology services. The role provides clinical leadership, patient education and specialist nursing support, and contributes to quality improvement, professional development and service enhancement initiatives within a busy tertiary healthcare environment. 1-5632b6

Provide advanced clinical nursing care, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation for patients attending hepatology outpatient services. 1-5632b6
