Commis Chef – Café

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our busy café kitchen.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about food, eager to learn, and looking to develop their skills in a professional kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the chef and kitchen team with daily food preparation
- Prepare ingredients and assist with cooking and plating
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Follow food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised and well maintained
- Assist with stock rotation and storage
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Follow recipes and kitchen procedures

About You
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is preferred, but training can be provided




- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced café environment
- Food safety knowledge is an advantage
