We're a small, fast-growing business based in Brisbane, specializing in the installation of commercial ducted HVAC systems. With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, we're looking for skilled and motivated Duct Installers to join our team and play a key role in delivering quality installations across the Brisbane area.
If you're an experienced duct installer or other tradesperson/skilled labourer looking for a change, with experience on commercial construction sites, and you want more responsibility, greater flexibility, and the chance to be part of a tight-knit team where your work is truly appreciated, this role could be for you.
We are also seeking motivated 2nd and 3rd Year Sheet Metal (Engineering Fabrication) Apprentices to join our team. If you’re keen to develop your trade skills, take on current challenges and gain practical on-site experience, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
- Liaise with other trades to complete HVAC installations to client requirements
- Installation of sheetmetal ducting, spiral duct, aircon units and flexible ducting
- Cut penetrations and neatly fit off grilles and vents
- Modifications and cutbacks of sheetmetal duct to fit on site where required
About You
You'll ideally have
- A trade background or at least 5 years' experience in the construction industry
- Experience installing commercial HVAC systems / ducting (huge bonus, but not essential)
- Strong knowledge of safe work practices & OH&S;
- White Card (must have)
- Own basic tools & reliable transport (projects across Brisbane)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings - or willing to learn
- High Risk tickets (advantageous, not essential)
- A self-motivated attitude and ability to work autonomously at times
- Willingness to take instruction, learn, and grow with the team
