Hellyers Road Distillery is the home of Australia’s Finest Aged Single Malt Whisky. With a company history beginning in the 1950s in dairying, in 1997, we were established as one of the founding distilleries of the contemporary era of Australian and uniquely Tasmanian Whisky.

Role Description The Company Secretary facilitates the company’s corporate governance processes and holds primary responsibility for ensuring that the Board processes run efficiently and effectively. Exceptional attention to detail is a critical skill for this role, given the need for accuracy and record-keeping. The role of Company Secretary must be based in Tasmania, with attendance the Annual General Meeting in person at the Distillery in Burnie each year.

- Taking accurate minutes that clearly capture decisions, actions and strategic discussions
- Supporting compliance with governance and regulatory requirements
- Assisting the Chair and Board to operate efficiently and effectively
