PCD Civil Retaining Walls are seeking a Construction/Contract Administrator to join our busy and expanding Civil Installation team, we supply and install concrete sleeper retaining walls. This is a full time position based in Narangba Industrial Hub, North Brisbane, offering the opportunity to be involved in a diverse and challenging scope of works.
Key responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of assigned contracts, purchase order processing including accuracy of order entry data, contract funding, scope changes, contract amendments and variations, receipts and delivery schedules and legal requirements
- Assist Project Manager and Construction Management team with daily schedules, contractual and commercial requirements along with client engagement
- Compile and maintain all required contractual records and documents in accordance with company policy
- Effectively liaise with onsite civil installation team, sub-contractors and office staff to ensure best project outcomes
- Use Procore to schedule and maintain contracts and staff records
- Monitor the maintenance and movement of plant and equipment
- Perform administrative duties following up with sub-contractors, managers, and engineers
- Ensure that all subcontracts are executed, delivered,
closed out and documented in accordance with Company commercial policies and guidelines
- Assist with collating monthly cost reports and ensure accurate project allocations
- Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and ability to pivot from different tasks
About you
- Previous experience in Construction Administration and/or Contract Administration
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with internal staff, contractors, and management team
- Qualifications and experience in a relevant or similar industry to Civil Installation
- Experienced with the use of Microsoft Office and proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and high standard of quality
- Experience in relevant project management system such as Procore
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally
- Ability to prioritise tasks independently and manage time effectively
- Capable of reading civil plans and drawings (advantageous but not essential)
- Ability to work autonomously and/or as part of a team
