An exciting contract opportunity is available for an experienced Drafting Professional to join a growing team delivering structural and precast projects across multidisciplinary environments.

This contract role is ideal for someone who can step into active projects quickly, has strong technical drafting capabilities, excellent attention to detail, and is comfortable working within fast-paced project delivery environments.

About the Contract Role The successful contractor will be responsible for producing accurate, high-quality shop drawings and models while coordinating multiple design inputs and supporting project, procurement and production teams.

Key responsibilities include

- Preparing detailed shop drawings for structural and precast elements
- Managing drawing registers, revisions and document control
- Coordinating information from multiple drawing sources into consolidated deliverables
- Ensuring drawings comply with project specifications, drafting standards and quality requirements
- Liaising with engineers, project managers, consultants and production teams
- Supporting procurement, manufacturing and project delivery requirements
- Assisting with project workloads and deadlines throughout the contract period





Skills & Experience To be successful in this contract, you will ideally have:
- Proven drafting experience within structural, precast or construction-related environments
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
- Advanced Excel skills for schedules, data management and reporting
- Experience with PDF-based workflows and document control systems
- Excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to work independently, manage deadlines and adapt quickly to changing project priorities
