We are seeking an experienced Contracts/Procurement Officers to join a Council in Wanneroo on an initial 4-month contract, with the potential for a longer-term extension.

This is a great chance for an experienced Local Government Contracts or Procurement Officer to join an established team and contribute to the delivery of effective procurement and contract management services.

ABOUT THE ROLE You will support Council’s procurement and contract management activities, including:

- Managing RFQs and tender processes
- Supporting contract management and procurement activities
- Providing advice to internal stakeholders
- Liaising with contractors,



suppliers and other stakeholders
- Maintaining procurement and contract records
- Ensuring processes meet Council requirements

ABOUT YOU

- Previous Contracts or Procurement experience within Local Government
- Strong understanding of Council procurement processes
- Experience with RFQs, tenders and contracts
- Strong communication and stakeholder skills
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
