About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at Comuna Cantina City. As a Cook, you will be responsible for providing high-quality food, excellent culinary skills, and ensuring efficient and high-quality delivery of meals. This is a full-time role based at our City location.

As a Cook, you will be responsible for:

- Preparing and cooking a range of dishes in accordance with recipes and business standards.
- Ensuring food is prepared and presented to a consistently high standard.
- Assisting with menu implementation and daily food preparation requirements.
- Monitoring food quality, portion control and minimising waste.
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with relevant regulations.
- Storing and handling food appropriately and monitoring stock levels.
- Assisting with ordering and stock rotation.
- Working effectively within a busy kitchen environment.

What we're looking for:

- At least 1 year of relevant full-time work experience as a Cook; or
- A relevant Certificate III qualification (or equivalent); or
- A combination of relevant training and experience.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.




- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and public holidays as required.
