About the role

Taiwan Yes Restaurant is a Taiwanese restaurant that offers authentic Taiwanese cuisine. We are looking for a cook who is passionate about food to join our team. You will be working in a friendly team environment on a full-time contract of 40 hours per week. The work schedule is set according to a fixed weekly timetable.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of ingredients, including Chinese/Taiwanese and local specialty dishes
- Design and create dishes according to menu requirements
- Prepare cooking ingredients by chopping, slicing, peeling, grinding, etc
- Ensure food portions and presentation meet the restaurant standards
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness, ensuring all kitchenware and equipment are clean and well-maintained
- Manage inventory of ingredients, ensuring their freshness and quality




- Ensure all food preparation processes comply with hygiene standards and safety regulations

About you

- Diploma or certificate from a culinary school or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
- Proficient in various cooking techniques and the use of cooking equipment
- Good time management and organizational skills, able to work under pressure
- Creative ability to develop new dishes and improve existing menus
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Honest, proactive, and passionate about work
- Willing to stay long-term (at least 1 year)
- Having your own transportation is preferred
