Copywriter
Join a collaborative marketing and member experience team where you'll bring the organisation's brand and member story to life through clear, engaging and impactful content. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of communications, from digital campaigns and member communications to product content and key organisational publications, helping members better understand and engage with their superannuation
About the role:
- Develop high-quality, on-brand copy across a broad range of channels including web, email, digital campaigns, social media, member communications, employer materials, internal communications, sales collateral, presentations and reports.
- Translate complex superannuation, product and regulatory information into clear, engaging and member-friendly language.
- Partner with Brand, Creative, Growth Marketing, Digital Experience, Product and Customer Experience teams to deliver content that supports campaign, member journey and business objectives.
- Apply and help evolve the organisation's tone of voice, narrative and content standards across all member, employer and partner touchpoints.
- Support go-to-market activities by developing positioning, key messages and supporting copy for new products, propositions and campaigns.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, regulatory obligations and governance requirements.
- Collaborate with Product, Risk, Compliance and Legal teams to produce accurate, compliant and member-focused communications.
- Contribute to major member and organisational communications, including the Annual Report and other strategic publications.
- Work closely with Product teams to translate technical and product information into plain English communications that support member understanding.
- Leverage customer insights, research and behavioural data to inform and improve content effectiveness.
- Edit, proofread and quality assure content produced by internal teams and external partners.
- Contribute to the development of content templates, frameworks and reusable assets that improve consistency and efficiency.
- Stay current with best practice in copywriting, content design, accessibility and member communications
What we're looking for:
- Demonstrated experience as a Copywriter or Content Writer producing high-quality content across multiple channels, audiences and formats.
- Strong portfolio showcasing experience across digital content, websites, email campaigns, social media, member communications, reports, campaign messaging and long-form content.
- Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone, style and messaging for different audiences and channels.
- Experience working within established brand and tone of voice frameworks.
- Proven ability to translate complex, technical or regulated information into clear, simple and engaging language.
- Experience partnering with a broad range of stakeholders, including marketing, digital, product, risk, compliance and legal teams.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, consistency and quality.
- Understanding of content design principles, accessibility requirements and digital content best practice.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative,
curious and member-focused approach, with a passion for creating content that drives engagement and understanding.
- Relevant qualifications in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Highly regarded:
- Familiarity with SEO and digital content optimisation.
- Experience contributing to major organisational publications, annual reports or regulatory communications.
- Experience working with creative, digital and content agencies.
