Role: Data Engineer (SSE / Staff Engineer)

Looking for a strong Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Python, SQL and AWS data technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and build scalable data pipelines for ingestion and transformation
- Develop batch and streaming solutions using AWS, Kafka and Flink
- Work with Glue, Redshift, Athena and Step Functions
- Build REST APIs and automation solutions
- Ensure data quality, governance, security and compliance
- Implement CI/CD and DevOps practices




- Monitor and optimise data platform performance
- Collaborate with architects, stakeholders and engineering squads

Required Qualifications:

- Strong hands-on experience with Python & SQL
- AWS Glue, Redshift, Athena and Step Functions
- Experience with data pipelines and ETL/ELT
- Knowledge of Kafka, Flink and Big Data technologies
- Data modelling and governance experience
- CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, IAM and Vault
- Solid problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
- Agile delivery experience
