A Data Engineer – Data Cloud role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and cloud-native platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Salesforce Data Cloud, Databricks, etc.) to ensure reliable, secure, and analytics-ready data for business and AI use cases. This role blends engineering expertise in Python/SQL/Spark with cloud services, orchestration tools, and governance frameworks.

- Purpose: Transform raw data into structured, analytics-ready formats across cloud platforms.
- Core Focus: ETL/ELT pipelines, streaming solutions, data modeling, and governance.
- Business Impact: Enables analytics, personalization, and machine learning by ensuring data quality, scalability, and compliance.





?️ Key Responsibilities

Cloud Data Engineering

- Pipeline Development: Build batch and streaming pipelines using Databricks, Spark, Airflow, Cloud Dataflow, Kafka.
- Data Integration: Ingest data from CRM, digital, and third-party sources; manage onboarding and validation.
- Data Modeling: Create star schemas, normalized/denormalized models, and technical metadata for analytics.

Salesforce Data Cloud

- Configure DMOs, DSOs, Identity Resolution rules, and unified customer profiles.
