Role Description The Data Insights Analyst (Remote, Entry-Level) supports OIRK by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to engineering membership, activities, and programs to inform decision-making and strategic planning. This full-time remote role involves preparing regular reports and dashboards, compiling market and sector information, and generating insights on member engagement, training needs, and institutional partnerships.
The analyst will collaborate with internal teams to clarify data requirements, translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations, and support the evaluation of initiatives focused on professional development and infrastructure safety. Day-to-day tasks include data cleaning, basic statistical analysis, visualization, documentation of methods, and assisting in the design of surveys and feedback mechanisms. The role is suitable for individuals beginning their career in data analytics who are eager to learn and contribute to the engineering community in Kosovo.
Qualifications
- Robust analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving, with the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
- Foundational experience or coursework in data analytics, including working with datasets, basic statistics, and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Ability to conduct market research and develop customer or stakeholder insights related to professional services or membership organizations.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex findings in accessible language for non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or in final stages) in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
- Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong time management, attention to detail, and self-organization.
- Basic familiarity with databases or query languages (e.g., SQL) and experience with survey tools or CRM systems is an advantage.
- Interest in the engineering and construction sectors, and commitment to ethics, safety, and sustainable development.
