Role Description This part-time remote DevOps Engineer role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable infrastructure and deployment pipelines. The DevOps Engineer will collaborate with development and operations teams to automate build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring efficient and secure delivery of software and services.

Daily tasks include managing cloud or on-premises environments, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and improving reliability through scripting and configuration management. The role also involves maintaining documentation, contributing to best practices, and supporting continuous improvement of engineering workflows aligned with organizational standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills, including experience with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar solutions.
- Candidates should possess Software Development skills, with proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, Go, or similar).




- Candidates should possess Continuous Integration skills, including hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or comparable tools).
- Candidates should possess System Administration skills, with practical knowledge of managing servers, networking basics, and security best practices.
- Candidates should possess Linux skills, including command-line proficiency, troubleshooting, and performance tuning in Linux-based environments.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud platforms, monitoring and logging tools, and version control using Git.
- Robust problem-solving abilities, effective written and verbal communication, and the capacity to work independently in a remote, part-time setting are essential.
- A degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, is highly valued.
